The simulation model was created by a group of pediatric urologists to improve the way newborn circumcision practice is done. Specific materials were used to make this simulation as real as possible. This is to be used in conjunction with the training module to teach and practice newborn circumcision using the GOMCO clamp.
Each kit, packaged and shipped by Denoyer-Geppert includes:
- 1 hard plastic base; with anatomical depiction of anterior pudendum of a male neonate, magnetic attachment point, and wings for taping or clamping
- 2 soft plastic penises with magnetic attachments at base
- 15 foreskin sleeves
- Instruction set for assembly and reassembly.
*WARNING: the foreskin sleeves are made of LATEX. Anyone with a latex allergy should contact us for alternate sleeves.
